Custom Kitchen – New Construction – Ask anyone who loves to cook or spends hours traditional, time-honored dishes for friends and family. For many, the kitchen is a special sanctuary. In this new construction project, the kitchen was truly the heart and soul of the home. It would be difficult to imagine what went into the design and build of this exquisitely appointed custom kitchen.

“There’s a lot you can see – the box beam ceilings, huge custom hood over cooktop, the walk-in pantry, high-end stone sink at the window, and prep-sink on the island. What you wouldn’t know is what actually went into some of the details. Just one example is the blue backsplash which is a mixed variety of distinct blue tones. We dug through boxes of tile, pulling out the specific blue color our client wanted. Those were the only ones we used. In the photos you can also see there’s an indoor BBQ in kitchen and those skylights. That’s custom, stained glass. We needed to make sure the kitchen was elegant, but also very useful as she cooks each day.” – Paul Thibaut – Thibault Builders
